Vaka eivas return

Vaka Eiva 2023, held in Rarotonga from November 24 to December 1, marked the vibrant return of this renowned paddling festival after a hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This 17th edition saw over 350 paddlers from New Zealand, Australia, Hawaii, Tahiti, and the United States

At the 2023 Pacific Games in the Solomon Islands, Team Cook Islands had a commendable performance, securing a total of 18 medals, which included 2 gold, 7 silver, and 9 bronze medals.

2023 Australasian Police and Emergency Services (APES) Games

The Australasian Police and Emergency Services (APES) Games took place in Rotorua. The APES games builds camaraderie and promotes a healthy lifestyle through participation in sport while heightening the public’s awareness of Police and Emergency Services. The Cook Islands sent teams to participate in the following sports which are Lawn bowls, Darts, Ten pin bowling and cross fit.
